Hoot Credit Union

Notice of Annual General Meeting

For the year until 30 September 2021

Monday 25 April, 5pm

Via Online Zoom Link

Hoot Credit Union is a member owned co-operative so it is important that, as a Hoot member, you come to the AGM and have your say and meet your elected member representatives – the Board of Directors.

Whether you are a saver of borrower, by using Hoot Credit Union you are helping your community. For every £250 you save you are helping someone else save over £300 in loan interest by using Hoot instead of a high-cost lender. By taking a Hoot loan you are helping the local economy by benefiting from over £1,000,000 in loan interest saved by members last year.

Please Note:

Due to a technical oversight when sending out the last notice, the call for nominations for the election of directors was omitted.

The Board will therefore accept nominations from the floor at this AGM under Rule 102 of the rules of the credit union, whereby the Board of Directors may establish the procedure for elections.

In addition, at the meeting, an explanation will be given or the procedure for applying for co-option to the Board of Directors.

You must register your attendance before the meeting as per instructions below.

We look forward to seeing you at the AGM.

Yours sincerely
The Board of Directors
Hoot Credit Union
